Cancellation Policy
Unless otherwise stated, our cancellation policy is two weeks notice. If you need to cancel your reservation, you may do so without penalty anytime before the date two weeks prior to your stay. No shows or less than the above notices will result in a charge equal to the total amount of your stay. Check-In/Check-Out
Check-in time is between 4pm - 7pm. Early check-ins and late check-ins can usually be arranged by phone. If you will be arriving later than 7pm, please give us a call so we know when to expect you. Arrivals after midnight are not guaranteed a room, unless prior arrangements are made. Checkout time is 11am.
Pet Policy
We have a friendly dog that shares our home with us. For the comfort of our guests, she is not allowed in the guestrooms. If you are traveling with pets, please let us know and we will gladly provide numbers for kennels in the area.
Smoking
Smoking is not permitted in the Inn. Guests may smoke outside on the back porch or in the courtyard.
Minimum Stay
We require a two-night minimum stay over prime season weekends and some holidays. The two-night required stay will be lifted on the Monday prior to the requested stay, and only a one-night stay is required if booked within five days before the desired date.
Children
Children over the age of 10 are welcome at the Inn. Please inquire by phone if your children are younger. While we love children, we are sensitive to the fact that some of our guests have come to the Dinsmore House to escape their own wonderful children for a few days.
Breakfast
A full breakfast is served from 8:00am to 9:00am. Special dietary needs may be accommodated with prior notice.
Fireplaces
Most guestrooms have fireplaces, but for the safety of our guests and inn, no fires or candles permitted in guestrooms.
Internet/Phone Access
The Dinsmore House has free wireless Internet access available to our guest. However guests may not use the Inn's business computer, and the rooms are not equipped with lines for dial-up access. A house phone is available on the first floor for local calls, and calling cards may be purchased for long distance calls.
